If you are using social media platforms to market your business and didn't consider LinkedIn yet, you are missing a great way to find new clients and boost your sales.

Below are 5 tips to help you use LinkedIn to boost your sales:

1. Make a genuine profile that's easy to find
Your LinkedIn profile should reflect who you are, what you are doing and how you can help your clients, also you need to optimize your profile with keywords that may be used by your potential client. Also make sure to add those keywords in your titles and summary section to ensure your profile will pop up when some looking for service you're providing.

2. Expand your network
Even if you have the perfect LinkedIn profile, it will be useless if someone can't find it. The only way to make your profile shows in search results is to be in the (first, second, third) connection or being part of group of the person looking fro service you are providing. This means the more connections you have and the bigger your network is, there will be higher chances that your profile will be found. Try to make new connections and join new groups frequently.

3. Search for opportunities and take the first move
Although it's great to be found by other people who looking for services you're providing, searching for opportunities is another way to increate your sales using LinkedIn, After being a member of some groups, you can search for opportunities using the advanced search functionality in LinkedIn. After you found potential client, take the first move and send them carefully written message, try to make your message more personal by using the person name. you need to give a good reason to accept the invitation rather than report you as spam.

4. Start a business relationship
Once you've successfully create a new connections, don't left them a side, always send them a follow up messages every several weeks. LinkedIn makes it so easy for you to stay in touch with your contacts by setting up reminders and save notes for each contact.

5. Move it to real life communications
After building a successful relationships in LinkedIn, take them to the real life business relationship and start a phone or personal meeting with your LinkedIn contacts.

As you can see, LinkedIn can be a perfect place to find new leads for your business and hopefully increase your sales.
