How to make a client refund on a credit memo


You can record full or part refunds on client credit memos.

To record a client refund:

  1. Go to Sales -> Credit Memo.
  2. Select the credit memo you want to apply the refund on it.
  3. From the toolbar click on Refund.
  4. Enter the refund information like amount, date and description.
  5. Select the payment method and the account you want to issue the refund from.
  6. Then Click [SAVE].


You can view the list of refunds applied on a specific credit memo:

  1. Go to Sales -> Credit Memo
  2. Select the credit memo you want to view its refunds
  3. Click on Refunds from the toolbar
  4. A list of credit memo refunds will displayed .
